The Egg and I is a dog-friendly, daytime-only restaurant boasting delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. Dog owners with a hankering for a glass of seasonal juice and an Apple Cinnamon Pancake--fresh apple slices and crunchy granola baked into a large, whole-wheat pancake, sprinkled with cinnamon and topped with cinnamon butter--can find and enjoy it at one of The Egg and I's five outdoor tables. The eatery's menu includes benedicts, omelets, scrambles, frittatas, skillets, hashes, "healthier side" dishes such as California Avocado Toast, Berry Steel-Cut Oatmeal, and a Garden Frittata, pancakes, waffles, French toast, sandwiches, salads, soups, and coffee, tea, juice, and soda. This location of the Egg and I is open Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 2:30pm. It is closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
