  Not for a Rainy Day

  Okay, I'm from Seattle, so I didn't expect sunny days out of Portland. Of course it was raining when we went to Lucky Labrador, and there were no covered sections at all. I went in to order pizza while my partner stood outside in the rain with our pup. It was a thirty-minute wait to get the pizza, so we had to sit in the car to keep from getting soaked. At least the pizza was delicious.

  Pet tolerant, not friendly

  Went here today. Pretty big disappointment from what we saw on this site. The outside is really sparse with very old plastic buckets of water that looked like they hadn't been changed in a few days. No fresh water available.The food was ok as was the beer. When the person brought our food, there were no napkins and no utensils and none available when we went inside. No one around to ask either. Please note we went to the Hawthorn site. Hopefully the other brew house is better. I won't be going back. FYI, had great experiences at Fireside Grill and The Racoon Lodge and Grill.

  Good Place to Bring your Dog

  It's hard when traveling with your dog to find a decent place to eat where you can also bring your dog. This is a great dog frienldly pub. The back patio is covered and esp in the winter it can be closed up and heated. That makes it a great place because most outdoor patios are closed in the winter.
  The beer is good and the food is ok, pub style food but good enough. Definitely worth checking out when you are in town.

  A good stoppers

  The food was very good and priced right. The covered patio allows dogs, but its serve yourself for the dogs water and order inside if you want anything. Food is brought to you, but you have to clear your own table. The location is not very good, but free parking is provided in back by the patio. This is certainly a place to consider when traveling with dogs.
