    Mellow Mushroom

    The founders of Mellow Mushroom opened their first restaurant because they saw pizza baking as an art form and wanted to offer other people the chance to enjoy their art. Mellow Mushroom on Monticello Road has several pet-friendly tables outside, so you can bring Fido with you to enjoy a specialty pie, calzone, hoagie, or salad. One of their most popular pies is the Holy Shiitake Pie, an olive oil and garlic base, shiitake, button, portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and Mont Amore, finished with a garlic aioli swirl and a spritz of black truffle oil.       Great Pizza!

      We sat on the patio with our fur babies. The server brought a bowl of water for each pup. The food and service was great. The only complaint I had was the smell. Our table was close to the dumpster and I could get wiffs of trash smells.

      Love Mellow Mushroom!

      I love Mellow Mushroom pizza. Even better is it is dog friendly. Service was great even though we were the only ones on the patio.

      Mellow Mushroom Rejected

      Called first to make sure they had a patio so my husband and I could eat lunch with our dog in tow. Showed up 5 minutes later and was turned away because it had rained and the patio seats were wet. Very young manager would not allow us to sit on the patio because it had previously rained. Manager mad a bad call July 31 2022 12:30.

      Gluten Free!!

      Traveling with a gluten allergy and a dog is not easy, so I was thrilled to find that the Mellow Mushroom would accommodate our dog on their patio, and they had some fantastic gluten free pizza!! Double bonus! The waitress was friendly and we were able to enjoy a relaxing lunch in the shade with a bowl of water.
