    Breakfast By the Bay

We were out for a weekend away at Morro Bay. It was the middle of October but the weather was very mild and breakfast out on the patio with our lab was very pleasant. Our server brought water for Charlie.
There were heaters but they were not necessary. The menu is varied and the food is great. Watch out for the seagulls that want to clean your table for you if you step away.

    We would visit again!

We went with our two larger size dogs. They offered the dogs water right away and happily worked around the dogs. Great waitress. Very friendly and attentive. Food was good. Not the best, but it was good.

    Very Welcoming

Dorn's staff was very welcoming to our big boy, Bao. They put us at a booth at the end of the patio which gave him room to stretch, and they offered water for him. The food tasted good, the view was wonderful, and the staff was great. Thank you, Dorn's, for making our first trip to Morro Bay with Bao memorable!

    Lovely patio, pet friendly service

While visiting Morro Bay, we stopped in at Dorns for lunch and were not disappointed. The people food was perfect (def try the chowder!) and they offered our pup a puppy burger which he gladly accepted.
The service was top notch and all of the patio servers stopped by to visit each of the pups who were out.
When you visit, I recommend getting an outdoor booth. Jack sat between us and loved every second of it.

    Superb Experience

Dined off season in April about 5:30 PM. Host was glad to seat us and out dog outside where we chose a booth that had a table too exposed rock heater and under table heating vents. Pup was very content, servers were careful to avoid her and asked if she was friendly should they need to get by. Food and service were fantastic.

    Patio with a View

Okay, they allow you to dine with your dog on their patio, but that is where it ends about your dog. The view is great, the breakfast not bad, but the service wasn't up to par.

Yes....they accept dogs but......they try to ignore that They Are With You.

You sit on the dog friend patio and pay a high price for so-so food in a so-so atmosphere with very so-so service and get the distinct feeling that once you pay your bill and start to leave ....they are happy you’re gone. Will not be going back

    Fantastic!

We took the advice of a previous reviewer, called ahead and told them we had two dogs. It was a Saturday night and they took us right to our heated table. Ruby, who is eleven even got to sit on the cushioned bench! The clam chowder was excellent, and their filet was amazing. Highly recommended....highly!

    It wasn't even cold outside

Looking for a restaurant to celebrate a birthday where we could bring Andy, we called Dorn's. The table set aside for us was occupied by a couple celebrating something for more than 2 hours, so we started at another patio table with appetizers. The bus boy asked if we wanted a high chair for our little dog! When the table became available, we were moved, Glad, too, because while it was not too cold, the hand-warming fire pit was nice. The food is great. So call them and reserve one of the firepit tables and mention you are bringing your dog. There's no menu for canines, but we fed him beforehand, so that was not a problem.

    LOOKING OVER THE OCEAN

We always eat at Dorn's. They are dog friendly plus the food is wonderful. We love the clam chowder for starters. Great seafood and steaks. The patio area over looks the ocean and you can see Morro Rock. They also have a firplace & heaters on the patio. Enjoy...
