John's of Times Square on Sussex Street is home to six dog-friendly tables outside, so Fido can join you for a slice of pie. All of the pizzas on the menu are made to order and cooked in one of their coal-fired brick ovens. The eight-hundred-degree temperatures in their ovens aren't controlled by thermostats. Instead, the pizza men who operate them trust their senses to deliver you a desirable pie. One of the most popular pizzas is the bruschetta, mozzarella cheese and diced roma tomatoes marinated in olive oil, fresh garlic, and basil. In addition to pizza, the menu also includes pasta, entrees, sandwiches, and paninis. Please note that table service isn't available, so your dog will need to be tied up outside when you go in to order.
