    Not 100% Ideal

LOVED the salads here, they were the best ever. They allowed my two large dogs (Lab & Rottie) which can be tough, we had to let them know inside then go around the back entrance. I went in May and the patio was very warm where we sat even with shade, it kind of creates heat under the umbrellas and black gate covers. I would not recommend if you have a heat sensitive pup on a summer day. They brought out water for my pups which was great, it was slow when we went so we had a lot of space but I can see this not being the case at a busier time. My two large dog scenario is I realize a bit different, with one pup or smaller dogs it would be a nice patio.

    Very cozy and sweet atmosphere

I recently had breakfast with my parents, boyfriend, and 2-year Rottweiler. I quietly peeked in as soon as they opened at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday, and asked if they allowed dogs and they happily said yes! Minutes before, I'd gone to a restaurant and on yelp it said "dogs allowed," but they discontinued the practice. So, this was my first time at Cafe Laurent, the staff incredibly sweet and accommodating throughout our meal and they brought out a bowl of water for our girl. We happily dined at a big table in a nice corner nook of the patio. Food was incredibly flavorful with great options for omelets, waffles, pancakes, French toast, lattes, coffees, and quiche. The potatoes gratin are among the best I've ever had! Delicious and reasonably priced. Afterwards we took our dog across the street to the lovely Carlson park and then walked around this quaint Culver City neighborhood. Great experience, great location, great food, and great space for dogs!

    Great

I was hesitating to go in at first. Wasn't sure if they allowed dogs. But it is confirmed. They do allow dogs. They even have a dog water bowl. And delicious food! The seafood crepe was yummy as well as their chocolate tart. A hidden gem. Definately will go again.
