  Better Than Expected

  Collina’s has minimal curb appeal, in a strip mall on a busy street. But we found it delightful! Dogs are accommodated with outside tables in front of large doors that must open during the summer but were closed when we visited. So you are sitting on the sidewalk more or less. Yet the welcoming atmosphere made up for such drawbacks. Our ebullient waiter brought water with ice for Washoe and proudly pointed out the Bring Fido decal on the restaurant’s door. We had a calamari appetizer and a marvelous Greek style pizza. Although we brought our own wine ($4 setup fee for two people), a small wine selection is available on premises. Odd that the self-description above mentions a “fence.” We did not see one. A great oasis on a heavily trafficked street.

  Dani loves Collina's!

  Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is so dog-friendly! Our waiter brought Dani her own bowl of water (dog-themed, of course) and he gave her breadsticks throughout the night! Dani can be a skittish puppy, but our waiter knew how to approach her so she felt comfortable. Definitely recommended!
