    Great dog friendly Wait Staff

Great pizza! Some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Not your run of the mill pizza! The wait staff was very friendly and came right out and greeted us and our dogs and brought them water.
Anthony our waiter was very friendly and Jonathan our food runner talked about his dogs with us. Worth the money. Glad we came here.

    BOW WOW

We have eaten at Dough Pizzeria several times before but this was the 1st time with our dog. Claudia made sure she had Water and treats and any employee that came by spoke to her. We were shocked to hear people complain about the. Price, they need to consider the amazing quality of the ingredients and the final product!!! Well worth the price. Claudia was amazing and extremely helpful with the menu

Excellent attention to catering to the pet! Plus a discount!!!

For some time now, we had talked about trying Dough but never acted on it. We were empty nesters, but now we have a new baby, a 5lb. Maltese that is truly endearing and very sociable. So now, we are in a new position, looking for places to go that are dog friendly since he goes everywhere with us. Last Saturday, early afternoon, we decided to try a pet friendly local restaurant; visited this site and found, Dough. I wasn't excited about pizza but agreed to try it. What a wonderful surprise and pleasant lunch experience. Yes, our baby received a bowl of water and three heart shaped doggy treats but the service and attention was remarkable. We ordered several times since we didn't know exactly what we wanted. First I had their Tuscany salad and shared it with my husband and dog... excellent in every way! Then I wanted bread with my salad and ordered their pizza bread. What a great companion... I ate it all! My husband ordered a pizza, kept commenting it was the best he has had in a very long time, over and over. Suddenly, we realized we hadn't ordered anything to share with the pup. We ordered a grilled chicken breast, it arrived in just minutes and was incredible. As I cut for the pup, I snuck a few bites and it was so moist and flavorful. A couple of visits from various staff members saying hi to our baby and our Dough experience left us wanting to return again. Even though it was a full house, we had no waiting, no delays, the food came promptly.

This is one of those times where I have found a restaurant worth rating and sharing my story. When you have it all, price isn't an issue. It was worth every penney we paid and if I remember correctly, we thought it was reasonable. It takes a lot to please and I was very pleased, with the seating on the patio, attention to our dog, incredible food for both man and pet, excellent service and guess what... we received a 10% pet discount! Does it get any better than this??!!

I, my husband and our precious dog give this a very hearty thumbs up! We will be returning again and this time will bring friends. This is a keeper for the favorite restaurant list.

    "Pricey" for a reason

I love Dough and have been going since they opened, I've only been bringing my puppy for about 6 months, but we love it! It is pricier than your average pizza place, and if you really think it's to expensive, then order pizza and stay at home. It is higher cost because of the higher quality ingredients and it is the ONLY place in Texas you can get an authentic and traditional Italian pizza, cooked in an oven brought over from Napoli, Italy. As for people and there pups not getting good service, that's never happened to me. I go once a month and am always given fresh water and a treat for my little girl. It does get crowded, but if you get there a little early it should be fine.

Treats and Water for the Dog

I have taken my 55 lb Husky twice. I made it a point to go on Saturday morning before the rush and get an outside table so my big furry friend wouldn't block the aisle. Each time my dog was given a water bowl and a plate of dog treats. He was welcomed by the staff. Not every table would have had room to accommodate his size, but there were several options. The Pork Love Pizza is very expensive (23), but it is probably the best Pizza I have ever eaten. The servers were attentive and refilled my tea at regular intervals. I will go again.

    terrible service

Way overpriced for average food and the service was terrible. After being seated, the waitress only checked on our table once.

    Great Pizza

Patio is small, so it may not be the best place for a very large dog. Offered bottled for our dog. Waiter was very attentive and checked on us often. Food was excellent. It was a little pricey for pizza, but I don't think it's outrageous.

I disagree with the low ratings here

The ratings are supposed to be about dog-friendliness, or overall impressions of the restaurant, or both?

We took our 60 lb black lab mix here on a Saturday for a late lunch. The seating on the porch was somewhat crowded, but we don't mind that. Our dog received water and we felt very welcomed. The pizza was quite good, as was the wait staff and the owner.

I've heard others say it's the best pizza they've had, but they'd probably not return. I think I feel the same, and I can't pinpoint why. Price might be the limiting factor. I know the owner is actively trying to capture opinions on how to get folks to return, so it seems they're aware of the opinions.

    Not dog friendly

Upper middle class of white people and small purse dogs are welcome.

Not recommended for medium/large size dogs

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place to dine with our dog using this website recently. After reading the reviews for Dough we decided to give it a try.

The experience for us was disappointing. We waited approximately 25 minutes for a table on a Friday night, which was acceptable. Then we were told the cocktail server will be right with me until the table will be ready, he never came. That was not acceptable. Finally, our table was ready, we sat down in a cramped outdoor patio with minimal wriggle room for two adults and a 40 lbs lab/shepherd mix. We writhe our way into the table and ordered our 22$ 12" pizza and over priced sausage & peppers appetizer with a Santo beer. Our bill was 57$ with tips. The food was good, but highly over charged for the material and labor cost. The service was inadequate, our dog wasn't even offer water, we felt unwelcome and astronomical for the allotted space. The worse part about the experience was the amount of flies flying around the patio, our dog was distracted and restless with all the flies vibrating around our table. It was taunting trying to get her to "leave it" to the continuous multiplying flies.

I would not recommend this place as a dog friendly restaurant.

Good food and wine. Patio heaters are not optimally placed. Haven't taken dog here yet.

    A Lot Of Money Wasted

Horrible service. Horrible food. They screwed up pizza?! Flavorless toppings, scantly placed. I think we were jipped. I wanted the good experience and didn't get it.

    best pizza!

This restaurant will ruin your pizza experience for ever. It's the best pizza I had taste and I refuse to eat another one. As far as dog friendly, you are welcome to bring your 'kiddos' in the outside area but they are very friendly.

    Very dog friendly

Our dog was very welcome in the outdoor seating, our waitress even poured the bottled water directly into her bowl. The hostess later came back with a dog treat. The pizza was above average for sure, the tiramisu was amazing. Very nice experience.

The Best Pizza and Dog Friendly Atmosphere

My husband, son, and I have been to Dough's a few times before and have always enjoyed the pizza. It is outstanding! This time we brought our 80lb well behaved boxer to enjoy dinner with us. Sometimes places will be a little stand-offish with his size, but Dough's was not. They welcomed us and loved all over him. I would recommend Dough's to anybody- pet owner or not, Dough's rock!

    WOW!!!

We had seen this restaurant on both The Food Network and House Hunters (yes, House Hunters!) We knew we were going on vacation soon and decided after seeing both shows that we needed to include a stop at Dough during our drive from the West Coast to the East Coast...are we ever glad we did! It was out of this world good! Now we see why they are so popular. Icing on the cake is that they are super dog friendly. We were immediately made to feel welcome and given a dog bowl, dog treats and not once did we feel uncomfortable. We went there for the Pizza and we will be back for the Pizza and their great service! When you are there, check out the world map they have on display showing all the people who have eaten there and where they are from-all over the world! While there, we found out that there is also a Dough in Dallas! Great job, Dough! Open up in CA, please!
