    Established in 1978, Seabolts Smokehouse is a family owned business with four dog-friendly tables outside. They have been voted the best place to eat on TripAdvisor in Oak Harbor. Their mainstay on the menu is a selection of fish and chips options, including halibut and chips, cod and chips, salmon and chips, oysters and chips, and calamari and chips. All of the fish and chips options are made from scratch and always wild, served with Seabolt's coleslaw and seasonal fries with a choice of tartar and chili lime tartar.       Good food but bad service

      We went yesterday and waited AN HOUR for our food. The people sitting next to us showed up later and were served and paid up before we got our order. They were a party of 4 and we were a party of 5. We were not rude to staff or anything to deserve this treatment. Made me look really bad to those I highly recommend this place to. Don't think I will come back as an in house diner again.

      food was perfect!

      PNW native and I’m in town for summer and ALL the seafood. The mussels (Penn Cove!) were awesome, plenty of bread to sop it up. We also had chowder, cod n’ chips. Bought their homemade salmon pate to bring home. They were awfully sweet to my dog, too.
