    Farmer's Table, located in La Mesa, CA, is a trendy farm-to-table joint that serves up New American eats. Fido is welcome to join you at one of the pet-friendly tables available on their outdoor patio while you enjoy your meal. Start off with an order of the Bison Tartare with local avocado, garlic, capers, mango-pomegranate salsa, a sunny-side-up quail egg, and crostini. Next, chow down on the Seafood Pizza topped with tomato sauce, garlic, mussels, clams, octopus, and baby shrimp. Or go for the Natural Pork Chop with garlic mashed potatoes, braised radicchio, and a dried apricot-white balsamic reduction.       Cute place - nice menu

      Brought our little shiba here and had a pleasant brunch. The food was pretty good, but hard to find plant-based options. Ended up going vegetarian instead of vegan but enjoyed the veggie omelet and homemade granola, which had lots of fruit - pineapple and cantaloupe, not just berries. So many great options though for regular eating - the table next to us had a short rib Benedict that looked amazing.

      The only thing lacking was an attention to detail and a less-than-stellar experience for our dog. We had to wait forever for a part of my meal that was missing and the tea I ordered when we sat down didn’t come out until after we got our food. Our server was very friendly and sweet, but the space around our table was cluttered with dirty trays from previous dogs and the floor had bits of food leftover and seemed a little grubby. Our dog didn’t even want to lie down and sat up the whole time. Nothing was offered to him and I had to ask for the doggie menu, which was only just chicken and rice, which he enjoyed (only ate the chicken and not the rice), but I was surprised that everything about his being there seemed an afterthought. So I’d say our experience was dog-accommodating, but not dog-friendly.

      Great place!

      Farmers table is a great place to go eat with your dog. Everyone is friendly and they are very accommodating and will bring your dog a water bowl if needed. They even have a small doggie menu! I love going here with my dog.

      Wow!!

      Stumbled across this gem. Incredible food! Salmon special with sautéed greens and artichoke hearts. Perfectly done. Husband had pork chops and mashed potatoes, loved. Mixed berry creme brûlée yummy. Impeccable service. Dog water dish at table. Lovely meal!
