  Great place

  This was a great spot to stop with our two corgis. Perfect seating outside with so .a y dog friendly people coming and going from the resturant. This place was fantastic, the staff immediately brought water to the dogs, mad ethe dogs and humans feel.very welcome and the food was great! I would absolutely go back!

  Great meal and service

  Very welcoming to us and our dog. We ate outside in a very peaceful patio. Hamburgers were delicious. They offer a pup menu!

  Excellent Service

  We luv this place. Every time we visit Gettysburg we come here to eat. Super pet friendly and excellent service. The workers are amazing.

  Amazing Restaurant!

  Even though there were only a few outdoor tables we were seated right away. They brought a bowl of water right out for my dog. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the french onion soup. The best part was that they even had a dog menu!

  Awesome place!

  The people here are very excited to see dogs come here. You have to sit at an outdoor table but there are enough available. They have a dog menu and offer water too! Great foods for humans as well.

  Great Restaurant for Dogs and Owners

  Excellent friendly service. Nice outdoor seating area with plenty of room for you and your dog. The food is excellent, including the dog menu. I definitely recommend!

  Great place to stop with your pup

  The shaded, semi-quiet outdoor seating provided a much needed respite from the heat and noise of downtown Gettysburg. We always bring our own water and dish for our dog, but the waitstaff brought a bowl of water. Plus, they have a doggy menu. I ordered the hotdog for our Chihuahua (although we rarely give her human food - she deserved it) and she liked it a lot!
  The restaurant has a nice selection of beers on tap, including local beers. My shrimp
  wrap was delicious and my husband devoured whatever he ordered. We all (dog and humans) left feeling very satisfied. Plus, we met some other folks who enjoy traveling with their dogs.

  Awesome Place!

  Our server was awesome and brought Chewie out a bowl of water with ice cubes for her to mess with. The hamburgers were super delicious. Recommended by the B&B we are staying at.

  Very Dog Friendly

  The min we arrived the staff was quick to bring our dogs ice water. They have a nice selection of food for the pups and even ice cream for dessert. The human food was incredible too! The best part was how kind the entire staff was to my dogs, I think everyone of them came out to pet and live on my babies, they absolutely loved it!!

  Great and super dog friendly

  Today we took our dog to The Gettysburger for the first time to sit outside. As soon as we got there they were super nice and the manager and waitress visited with our dog. They immediately brought him a bowl of water and they have a cute dog food menu. Overall they were fantastic and we will absolutely be back!

  This is nothing against the restaurant but just to make people aware that is is right on the main drag in Gettysburg so trucks do go by so if your dog is not good with loud noises that might not be good. Just an FYI.

  Amazing burgers and took care of my pup!

  We’d walked for miles in the battlefield and we were hot and hungry. Gunnar got his ice water before we got our drinks and that put me at ease. We ordered him a 4oz burger from the doggie menu, cuz yeah, there’s a dog menu! He got his burger before us and thoroughly enjoyed it! The only reason for 4 not 5 bones is that the patio is pretty narrow. Gunnar is still a pup. 85 lbs of German Shepherd, but still just a puppy at 9 months old. It made it challenging to have other dogs walk by with limited space. Even in tight spaces, dog owners made it work. Oh and the burgers? A-MAZE-ING!!

  Would come back 1 million times!!

  I cannot say enough good things about this place. They seat you in the coolest little brick alley way lined with tables, Decorated beautifully, out of the sun and foot traffic. The waiter and the owner both made several visits at our table. They welcomed out Great Dane, Kinzy with a bowl of ice water and lots of attention. We ordered her ice cream- for $1 Kinzy got at least 3 scoops of ice cream. She was in heaven. Outside of the dog friendliness. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. You can tell the owner truly cares about the establishment and customers. She was working hands-on the entire time, helping the wait staff, serving food, refilling drinks. You name it! We will definitely be back!!

  Great Even In The Rain!

  This place was awesome! We still had several hours before we could check into the hotel and needed a place to eat with our dog even though it was cold and raining. The food was great (burgers and the wings!) and it kept us dry with the awning. Thanks!

  Amazingly Friendly Staff!

  The staff at Gettysburger were so kind and helpful! My dog was a little nervous at first, but they made him feel comfortable! They even have an adorable menu for dogs! My pup got the grilled chicken! Their human food is also really good!

  Phoenix says Wooowww!

  We were treated so well here!!! There are nice dog-friendly tables up a side alley in the shade. Pheonix ordered a delicious chicken breast off the dog menu. Prices on drinks are very good. Excellent service!
