Can’t Wait To Go Back
We were delighted to discover River of Beer tonight! My husband had just played a nearby Music in the Park gig, and I thought I might not be able to join everyone else afterwards because I had our dog with me. Others in the group got there first and asked if dogs were allowed in the extensive and beautiful outside dining area. They not only said yes but asked us to please bring him!
Great selection of beer, including local brewery drafts, and a menu my husband and I are eager to explore further on our next visit!
My dog had been very well-behaved and non-reactive all day, but of course, even including all the kids and dogs at the park earlier that day, the only reactivity he showed was with one dog at River of Beer. I immediately sprang to correct his manners, but the staff and customers all were unphased and even recognized his burst as excited and happy, not aggressive. It’s so nice to find a place that not only allows dogs but understands that “well-behaved dogs” aren’t always completely pawfect.
As we left, I told the staff we would be back soon. I was told to please bring our dog with us any time. You bet we will!

Super friendly staff
even in a pandemic, the staff was welcoming and quickly asked if we needed a bowl of water with ice. Human food was good as well. If they had a dog specific menu it would have been a 5 bone review.

Great food and drinks!
I like the Sampler platter - choices for wings and empanadas. The $5 Bloody Marys on Sundays are a favorite, although they have REALLY interesting drink options if you are adventurous. We like sitting out back by the fire with our beagle mix, Minion.
