  Call First!!

  We arrived and were told they were not seating anyone outside. Reading the reviews below, this was not friendly reception for us, quite snarky. Menu looked amazing so call and ask if they are truly pet friendly that night before you go.

  Very dog friendly

  We were mid 12 hr roadtrip and it was very cold out so I called ahead to be sure outdoor seating was available I was assured it was heated and covered and they even reserved a table for us so we could be seated quickly. Our puppy was extra rambunctious after being couped up in the car for 6 hrs and they were very nice about it and welcoming. Offered water and biscuits for our dog as well.

  Dog Friendly Patio!

  Food and cocktails were very good. They were super friendly to me and my golden. I’ll be going back here for sure :)

  Great food, attentive staff and super dog friendly. Water and dog biscuits offered without asking. Definitely the place to stop on a trip along IH 35.

  Perfect lunch!

  We loved our lunch at Westside Local. So friendly to our pup and the food is awesome!! We had been to this restaurant before without our dog and now that we know how friendly it is we will be frequent diners! We can’t wait until our next Westside Local meal.

  Great Service

  absolutely pet friendly, our pup got a bowl of water almost immediately.
  offered him treats and he kept charming all the servers. and the food was great

  Definitely Going Back!

  The outdoor patio is spacious and beautiful! Lots of shade for your pup on a hot day. They gave my dog a bowl of cold water and a little treat bag featuring a local KC dog bakery! The food is also excellent, great place!

  Fantastic!

  What a great find! The patio area is very nice as are the staff. In fact, our pup was given a welcome plate of bacon! The food was delicious, with many vegetarian dishes. Wish we lived in that area instead of just passing through. Well Done Westside Local!

  beer garden seating!

  We found this place via the "BringFido" app as we were passing through town. The Veg options sealed the deal. I enjoyed the sweet potato quinoa burger and my wife had the heirloom tomato sandwich. Thumbs up for the food and gold star for the service

  The dog friendly beer garden even had the space heaters going on this sunny afternoon.
