  Sadly, I just conformed that only service dogs are allowed on their patio...

  Just bad

  We went based on reviews and we're told they were not set up for the season, which I understand. We asked if we could order to go and sit in the already there furniture and we're told no the manager doesn't want people in either patio. I told my family to have lunch and I would sit in the car. I got to listen for an hour their employees complain on their cells and smoke while sitting on the patio ........

  Very welcoming to our dog!

  We were in the Poughkeepsie area and needed some food, but had our pup along with us. We tried one brewpub that turned us away, so we found this review on Bring Fido, tried it out, and it was great! They let us sit outside and were very attentive and thought our puppy very cute, and brought her some water. The food was good too, would go again!

  We took our 1-year old puppy to the Walk Over The Hudson for his Birthday Adventure and then needed to find a restaurant that would allow us to take him to.

  We found Cosimo's Trattoria through Bring Fido and we are so happy we came here! The food is delicious, the staff is amazing and they are big dog lovers! They gave Hunter a big bowl of water and a plate of cubed chicken breast (which we couldn't give our baby fast enough). As we are finishing our dinner another family came in with their 13-year old golden retriever mix. Definitely come here and bring your babies young and old!

  A great evening on the porch

  My husband and I found ourselves in need of a place to eat but we had our two dogs with us. I did a quick search and thankfully found Bring Fido which suggested we could eat with the dogs at Cosimo's in Poughkeepsie. I never would have thought of them as being dog friendly but our experience couldn't have been nicer. All of the staff were extremely kind, even bringing chilled water out to the porch for the dogs. It was a great experience, we might even do it again for fun! Many thanks to the staff at Cosimo's!
