  No water for pup, okay food

  We accidentally went here for lunch after kayaking. The owners of North Island Surf and Kayak had told us to go to a local pizza place for good pizza and cheap beer. This was not the place - they had originally suggested Huca Poo's, but in our post kayaking hunger we got it wrong. It said pizza and was pet friendly. However, on a 90 degree day they said they couldn't bring us any water for our doggie - something every other restaurant has done in the area. My husband ordered a meatball sub, and I ordered a chicken caesar salad. After ordering, the waiter came back and asked us to pay for our food because they had had a problem with people leaving without paying. After waiting about 45 minutes for a simple sub and salad, the food was okay - a little bland. The waiter, however, was nice and made a few jokes about the delay. Would not go back. Check out Huca Poo's instead - they are truly pet friendly.
