    Dissatisfied

I am on vacation and drove 31 miles ( from where I am staying )to get there. I tried phoning but it kept saying not able to go through. When we got there we had asked if it was dog friendly (because it said so) and their reply was "not tonight". Either you are or you're not!!!

    Dog Friendly

This restaurant was very dog friendly. A bowl with fresh water and ice was brought out along with my menus. The food was excellent as well. The staff was extremely helpful and kind! We will visit again!

    Loved this place!

Had dinner after a day at the park. Outside dining is in the shade so good for our pooch. Amy brought out a full dish of water right away. Had the small filet, asparagus and the horseradish pesto and topped it off with creme brûlée. Steak was cooked perfectly. There were 3 other people outside with their pets. Good good and good place for pets. Highly recommend if traveling with your pet.

    Disatsisfied

Not what we expected . No milk for a sombrero . Had to large of a dog for "pet friendly " restaurant. The in/exit door for the second door became permantky locked and could not step out side. Our guest got locked out and they wouldn't let her bring the dog through to go up to the 2nd floor so she could eat . We waited while our food got cold for our guest to be able to sit with us . As they tried to take the door knob off . And said he was going to take the guest plate outside so she could eat. We said unacceptable . You meet people to have a dinner that you haven't seen in years and half way across the U.S.... .

Waiter was less then apologetic . Overwhelmed with to big tables . Waited for drinks forever . And never got milk for the drink after an hour and a half later .
And you comped us 1 drink (really) . Could have comped the 25.00 plate of two crab cakes that's enough for A bird .
Horrible ! Hopefully they can get it together - there charging enough for the new addition there working on .
    And understaffed !

    Convent and friendly

Welcoming staff, very accommodating for our 4-legged son. Even getting him a bowl of ice water. We had great service and good beverages. Nice view of the harbor while you dine. Everyone left satisfied.

Very welcoming to people and poochs

The food was delicious. Even though I am a vegetarian and there were limited options for me, the food was delicious. My husband, who is not a vegetarian, really enjoyed his food too. The waitress was great and even brought our dog her own bowl of scraps. The martini I had was amazing. It was a nice cool September evening when we were there so we had no trouble with shade. And if you are taking one of the nature cruises that leaves from the hotel right across the road, it is so convenient.

    good food and drinks

i agree with the lack of shade in the prior review and the plave itself on the outside needs to be landscaped and cleaned up. the food was good! the first thing our waitress did was bring us a bowl of water for our dogs. suggestions for the restaurant ... trim up the roses and add some more shade outside: another tree or arbor over the outside dining area. and trim all the overgrown bushes infront of the building so people know you are open. your food is great you have potential to draw crowds out of downtown for food if the place looked a little more kept.

    no shade. good food

visited for lunch on a warmer day in august. there are 4 iron tables just outside the main restaurant. to be honest the place looked closed when we drove past a few times and ended up pulling into the lot and going inside to see if it was actually open. my issue with this place is that there is no shade other than a small tree which only provided shade to 1 table. the waitress sat us and our 2 dogs in the sun... we were the only ones there. we moved ourselves to another table as our dogs were panting. i would suggest they plant another tree or two as sitting in the sun in 80+ degrees was not pleasant.
