    Place is closed

Went to check out this place and it has been closed all week. Not sure if it’s closed for good or just on vacation. :(

    Wonderful Spot

Called ahead to confirm there was seating for us and our pup. We were seated immediately and had a nice view. Server brought a dog bowl with fresh water for our doggie.
The food was really nice, and we were really happy to find a place that welcomed us with our dog, which is hard to find in Galveston.

Wonderful Place And Very Pet Friendly!

Mellisa and Alex were amazing. We had 2 dogs and Melissa brought each dog their own water dish! The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed it along with dogs. The view was exceptional as well 😊

    The View is Fantastic!!

So I recently moved to Galveston with my mini-dachshund Lily (5 year old chocolate). We’ve been trying all the pet friendly spots we can find. I decided to try Olympia Grill because all of the great 5 star reviews. At first I was not going to give 5 stars, because I was dining alone and felt like they stuck me in a back corner away from everyone. I had chosen this restaurant at the time that the cruise ships leave the port so we could have that experience. My server Nickie,
was great and moved me (and Lily) to the front where we could see the water and lots of porpoises playing and jumping in the water. It was a beautiful evening and we thoroughly enjoyed it! They brought Lily a big bowl of ice water immediately and my drinks weren’t too shabby either! All of the “dog people” are sat in one section but it’s very nice and peaceful and shaded, and there’s a grassy area right next to it. Highly recommend. Only negative for me (or Lily) is that they asked her to get out of a chair because the health department wouldn’t allow them. If you know dachshunds you know they love to be up and see everything.

    dog friendly and great good

Went to this restaurant with my fiancé and chihuahua/jack Russell. Very dog friendly on outside patio. Everyone with dogs sits one side of the patio and it’s in the shade which is great. Our dog was given a bowl of water and got a lot of attention from the waiters. Food is good. Would definitely go back again!

Really nice and the waitress was awesome. The food was a little on the high side but delicious. We all got water refills 😃 Great recommendation!

    Kids & dogs welcome

My family was in town for the day to go to the beach and do a bit of sightseeing. We brought our dog, Cisco (Pomeranian) and car full of kiddos along. We picked the Olympia for the wonderful views of the boats coming and going in the Harbor - and because we had our dog with us. Being one of the only restaurants in town with great views, wonderful covered patio (for shade & rain protection) and pet friendly we visit often. The patio is big and accommodating for kids and pups as well. Our waiter brought out a water bowl along with the drinks for the table. The menu has lots of good choices. I enjoyed the crab cakes and the kids shared salmon and chicken entrees. The waiter was very helpful but a little bit slow. We were there for a late lunch and the pace of the meal was casual and leisurely. In general we had a nice experience, with full tummies and gracious staff. The views of the harbor were fun for the whole family and our pup was happy to be along for the adventure.

    Two Paws Up!!

Very nice brunch. They brought a big bowl of water for my pup and everyone stopped to pet her. The hummus and gyros were awesome and so were the Peach Bilinis.

    Very Enjoyable Lunch!

The staff was very accommodating and brought fresh water out for our dog. The food was great, although a little on the pricey side.

I arrived with my daughter and 2 little dogs. The waiter brought a large bowl of water first thing. We were treated do well. The pricing is to be expected in a resort area. But there were items in all price ranges. The wait staff was delightful. There are too few places to take your pet and the patio was cool and well thought out. I will be going back

    service and food

Service was great! Staff was very welcoming to our dogs. They brought a water bowl to our heavily panting English Bulldog a and didn't mind a larger puppy!

To be kind, the best thing I can say about my experience is that they welcome your pets. I took my two Scotties along with me for lunch and we were seated at the far end of the restaurant away from the other guest. My Scotties (blk and white) are better behaved than most children and even some guest. My biggest disappointment was my lunch. I had the "new" ceviche dish, the chips were rancid and cold, and the Bloody Marys were a whopping $10.00 a piece. The other reviews must be from family members. Don't think I will be returning or recommending the Olympia for the dining experience. There are other restaurants that are pet friendly. GIVE ME A BARK!

    Very good but overpriced

Just ask to be seated in the patio. Friendly staff, they even brought a bowl of water for our dog. Food is good but I think is very overpriced. You will have a good time

The best view, food & entertainment!

My girlfriend and I took our dogs to Olympia Pier 21 and had the most amazing evening! They had live entertainment outside while we having cocktails and taking in the breathtaking view. Our dogs Zuca and Dixie were so happy to be out with us and they even have a little park next to the restaurant where the dogs to run around after dinner. The pork chops rocked and so did the night!
