Their chefs have worked across the country, at a number of restaurants, honing their skills. Firehouse Located in a building that used to house a fire station, Firehouse Restaurant has four dog-friendly tables. The firemen were still putting out fires from the building until 1980, when a new firehouse was built and the Firehouse Restaurant folk moved in. Most of the architecture is the original design or has been restored to reflect it. The dishes on offer include twists on classic dishes, such as the Guinness Mussels, sauteed with onions, garlic, and pepper flakes, in a Guinness butter sauce.
