Ex-sergeant with the Shaler Township Police Department, Carl Funtal, loves to cook food from his youth, that speaks to his Polish-Russian-Czech-Austrian heritage. He used to watch his mother roll out the dough, cut it up, and stuff it with mashed potatoes and cheese. Now, he does the same thing at Cop Out. You get fourteen pierogies in a dozen, what a steal! Carl makes them with sweet potato, cottage cheese, hot sausage, cheeseburger, spinach feta, and many more flavors. They're open Thursday and Friday from 12pm to 4pm and Saturday from 11am to 3pm.
