The Aegean Reservations Department must be notified even if you book your reservation online. You can contact them at 833-732-8158 for more information. The pet’s health book must be presented for inspection at check-in and the pet must have the required ID microchip. International travelers will also need to present a pet passport. Pets are not allowed on flights to/from Düsseldorf and to London Gatwick Airport.
Pets in the Cabin
Small pets (cats, dogs, and rabbits) are welcome in the cabin on Aegean flights if the combined weight of the pet and carrier is under 17 lbs (8 kg). Each passenger can travel with 1 pet. If you need to transport more than 1, they must be familiar with each other and not exceed the maximum weight limit. Pets must be safely stowed underneath the seat in front of you during the entire flight. Fees for this service vary depending on your month of travel. From January to mid-June, and mid-October to the end of December, the fees are 30 EUR for domestic flights and 50 EUR for international; and from mid-June to mid-September the fees are 30 EUR for domestic flights and 60 EUR for internationals flights.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Pets that do not meet restrictions for traveling in the cabin can be transported in the hold if the combined weight of pets and carriers is less than 70 lbs (32 kg). Only the Airbus 319, 320 and 321 aircraft can transport pets in the hold. Pet fees vary depending on the month you are traveling. The fee from January to mid-June, and mid-October to the end of December, for animals under 55 lbs (25 kg), is 40 EUR for domestic flights and 95 EUR for international. Animals over this weight limit have a fee of 80 EUR for domestic flights and 160 EUR for international. The pet fee from mid-June to mid-September, for animals under 55 lbs (25 kg), is 50 EUR for domestic flights and 105 EUR for internationals flights. Animals over this weight limit have a fee of 90 EUR for domestic flights and 170 EUR for international flights.

For pets being transported in the cabin, carriers must be no larger than 21" x 15" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). The Aegean representative at your chosen airport will provide you with an appropriate carrier if you don't bring your own. For pets traveling in the hold that are 8 lbs (4 kg) and under, the carrier should not exceed 23" x 17" x 15" (60 cm x 45 cm x 40 cm); animals that are 13 lbs (6 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 31" x 21" x 21" (80 cm x 55 cm x 55 cm); 28 lbs (13 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 39" x 25" x 27" (100 cm x 65 cm x 70 cm); and 48 lbs (22 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 50" x 30" x 33" (125 cm x 75 cm x 85 cm).
