There is a maximum of 3 pets allowed on LAM aircraft. You can guarantee Fido a spot on board by contacting the Customer Service Team at (+258) 21-468-800 as soon as your travel plans are confirmed.

Clean and healthy animals can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 11 lbs (5 kg). Passengers can bring more than 1 pet with them in the same carrier, as long as they don't exceed the weight limit. Animals traveling in the cabin will be charged an excess baggage fee.

Animals who weigh more than 11 lbs (5 kg) can be transported as checked baggage instead. Pets traveling in this manner will be charged an excess baggage fee.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 10" H x 20" L (25 cm x 50 cm). LAM recommend using a soft carrier, so it can be more easily placed under the seat in front. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 23" H x 52" L x 27" W (60 cm x 130 cm x 68 cm). The base of the carrier must be watertight and absorbent.

Pregnant females will not be accepted for transport in the cabin or as checked baggage with LAM Airlines.
