Pets in the Cabin
Small pets are permitted to fly in the cabin if they do not exceed 11 lbs (5 kg) in a carrier on all flights except Twin Otter flights, which accept pets and carriers with a combined weight up to 22 lbs (100 kg). Fees for this service start at $1,000 CLP per kilo and vary depending on the aircraft.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Dogs and cats can travel as checked baggage with Aerovias DAP. Fees for this service start at $1,000 CLP per kilo and vary depending on the aircraft.
Carrier Guidelines
For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 12" x 13" (30cm x 33cm). For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed 40" x 40" x 27" (100cm x 100cm x 70cm)
Other Restrictions
Brachycephalic (snub-nosed), pregnant, sick, or aggressive dogs are not permitted to travel.
