Pet Reservations
Animals accepted on each flight is limited and there is no guarantee that there will be enough room for Fido. Contact the Customer Service Team at 800 361-2965 to see if there is room for your pet when you reserve.
Pets in the Cabin
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed to fly in the cabin with Air Inuit.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Pets can fly as checked baggage with Air Inuit. Each passenger is allowed to bring 1 pet and carrier on board with them. They will be charged a fee depending on the weight of the animal they are traveling with. The fee for animals weighing up to 48 lbs (22 kg) is $105-115; from 50-99 lbs (23-45 kg) is $157.50-172.46; and over 99 lbs (45 kg) is $236.25-258.69.
Pets in Cargo
Larger pets can be transported through Air Inuit Cargo Services if they meet the necessary requirements. Contact the Cargo Team in Montreal directly via email at yul.cargo@airinuit.com for more information.
Carrier Guidelines
For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be rigid plastic and big enough to allow your pet to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably inside.
