Passengers must hold entry permits and other documents required by countries of entry or transit, and valid health and rabies vaccination certificates.

Small pets can travel in the cabin on Air Koryo flights, as long as the carrier can fit under the passenger seat and the total weight of the animal and the container does not exceed 11 lbs (5 kg). Excess baggage rates will be charged, whereby the total weight of the animal and container is counted and any unused part of the passenger’s own free allowance shall not be taken into consideration.

Animals that exceed the requirements to fly in the cabin can be transported in the cargo hold in a suitable and sturdy carrier. The same fees apply for pets traveling in the hold.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be small enough to fit under the seat. For pets traveling in the cargo hold, carriers must meet IATA guidelines and be sturdy and secure.
