Pets in the Cabin

Pets in Cargo
Passengers who need to send their pet alone should contact IAG Cargo via telephone at (+34) 910-059-551.
For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 18" L x 14" W x 10" H (45 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm). Carriers should be strong, well-ventilated, and have a waterproof floor. You can carry several animals of the same species in a carrier if they are small and light enough. For pets traveling in the hold, carriers must not exceed 25" x 32" x 22" (65 cm x 83 cm x 56 cm). Carriers must comply with international regulations, be made of resistant and secure material, ventilated with a waterproof floor, adapted to the animal's size, and in good condition to ensure their safety.
The following breeds of dog will need to be muzzled to travel with Iberia: Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Argentine Dogo, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa Inu, or Akita Inu. Brachycephalic (snub-nosed) animals can fly, but must still meet the requirements. Breeds considered to be snub-nosed are Boston Terrier, Boxer (all breeds), Bulldog (all breeds), Bull Terrier, Brussels Griffon, Chow Chow, English Toy Spaniel, Japanese Spaniel/Japanese Chin, Mastiff (all breeds), Pekingese, Pit Bull (all breeds), Pug (all breeds), Shih Tzu, Staffordshire Terrier, Shar-pei, and Affepinscher. Brachycephalic cat breeds that are not accepted are Burmese, Exotic Shorthair, Himalayan, and Persian.
