Pets must be at the airport no later than 90 minutes before departure from Faroe Islands. Pets must be at the airport no later than two hours before departure to Faroe Islands. All pets are subject to approval from Atlantic Airways before traveling.

Atlantic Airways welcomes pets to travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Animals should be stowed underneath the seat in front of you for the duration of the flight. The fee for pets traveling in the cabin with Atlantic Airways is 199 DKK per segment of travel.

If the total weight of pet and container exceeds 17 lbs (8 kg), your pet can be checked in the hold instead. Pets should be transported in an IATA-approved transport carrier. The fee for pets traveling in the hold with Atlantic Airways is 399 DKK for each segment of travel.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 16" x 10" x 9" (40 cm x 25 cm x 23 cm). For pets traveling in the hold, different aircraft have different restrictions on the size of carriers accepted. Dimensions for traveling in the Airbus 319/320 are 59" x 17" x 17" (150 cm x 70 cm x 70 cm); and the Bell 412 are 32" x 23" x 25" (82 cm x 59 cm x 65 cm).
