Pet Reservations
Bangkok Airways no longer accepts pets on Airbus A319/A320 aircraft. Don't forget to check which type of aircraft you will be traveling on before reserving tickets.
Pets in the Cabin
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to travel in the cabin on Bangkok Airways.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Dogs and cats are permitted to travel in the temperature-controlled area of the cabin hold with Bangkok Airways. The combined weight of pet and carrier must not exceed 44 lbs (20 kg). The fee for pets traveling as checked baggage is 180 THB per kg and sector on domestic flights. For pets traveling on international flights, the rate is subject to a zonal fare.
Carrier Guidelines
For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed 31" x 18" x 25" (80 cm x 45 cm x 65 cm).
Other Restrictions
The following breeds and cross-breeds are considered Brachycephalic (snub-nosed) and are not permitted on any Bangkok Airways flights: American Bulldog, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit, Bull Terrier, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Bulldog, Chow Chow, English Bulldog. English Toy Spaniel, French Bulldog, Lhasa Apso, Japanese Boxer, Japanese Pug, Japanese, Spaniel (Chin), Mastiff (All Breeds), Pekinese, Pit Bull, Pug, Shar Pei, Shih Tzu, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Tibetan Spaniel.
