Small pets can be transported under the seat in front of a passenger in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Or, reserve your pet an adjacent seat if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 50 lbs (23 kg). The fee for pets traveling under the seat in the cabin is $60. The fee for pets traveling in an adjacent seat is calculated by additional baggage fees.

Pets who exceed 17 lbs (8 kg) can be transported in the cargo compartment of the aircraft instead. The fee for this service depends on the combined weight of your pet and carrier. Animals weighing up to 17 lbs (8 kg) are charged $160; from 17-70 lbs (8-32 kg) are charged $180; and from 70-154 lbs (32-70 kg) are charged $220.

Pets who exceed 154 lbs (70 kg) can be transported with the Belavia Cargo Team instead. Contact them via email at cargo@belavia.by for more information.

For pets traveling under the seat or in adjacent seat in the cabin, carriers should not exceed the dimensions of 21" x 16" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). All carriers must be properly ventilated with a waterproof bottom. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be hard-sided and large enough for the pet to enjoy a comfortable flight inside.

The transportation of live animals as cargo, luggage, carry-on baggage from Belarus to the UK is not permitted with Belavia, but you can bring them on return journeys to Belarus. Additionally, pets are not permitted to travel if they are under 3 months of age or those considered by the airlines to be a brachycephalic breed.
