Carrying of animals on Binter aircraft is subject to acceptance by Binter Canarias. Check with your agent which animals are accepted on your flight when you book.

Binter Canarias allows pets to travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier doesn't exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). This airline requires passengers to handle pets with care during the flight, without causing any type of nuisance to nearby passengers. Pets traveling in the cabin on Canary Islands inter-island flights and to Madeira Porto Santo will be charged a fee of 9 EUR. Pets traveling in the cabin on all other flights will be charged a fee of 25 EUR.

Binter Canarias welcomes pets to travel as checked baggage in the hold of the aircraft, subject to acceptance by their Customer Service Team. Pets traveling as checked baggage on Canary Islands inter-island flights and to Madeira Porto Santo will be charged a fee of 25 EUR. Pets traveling as checked baggage on all other flights will be charged a fee of 100 EUR.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 18" x 14" x 10" (45 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm). For pets traveling as checked baggage on ATR aircrafts, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 39" x 23" x 31" (100 cm x 60 cm x 80 cm). All carriers must allow the animal to stand, turn around and lie down naturally.

Breeds that are considered dangerous: Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Argentine Dogo, Brazilian mastiff, Tosa Inus, Akita Inus, cross-breeds and dogs that weigh more than 44 lbs (20 kg) must wear a muzzle during transport.
