Pets in Checked Baggage
Pets are permitted to fly as checked baggage with Calafia Airlines. The maximum weight for any baggage is 70 lbs (32 kg). Animals must be at least 8 weeks old and must not be pregnant to travel. For fees and to reserve a spot for your pet, contact Calafia Customer Service.
Other Restrictions
Calafia Airlines will not transport animals who exhibit aggressive behavior before travel. The following dog breeds are not accepted: affenpinscher, Boston terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Bulldog, Cane corso, Chow chow, Dogue de bordeaux, English toy spaniel, Japanese chin, Lhasa apso, Mastiff, Pitbull, Canary dog, Pug, Carlino, Pekingese and Shih Tzu. The folling cat breeds are not accepted: Persian, Birman and Himalayan.
