Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in the cabin on any flights.

Cats and dogs can travel as checked baggage if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 70 lbs (32 kg). Each passenger can transport 2 pets separately on most flights. The fee is calculated using the excess baggage formula of 1.5% of the average ticket on board being multiplied by the overall weight of your pet and carrier. The maximum fee is 8000 RMB. There is also an additional surcharge for declared baggage.

For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers can be any dimension between 20" x 15" x 15" (53 cm x 38 cm x 40 cm) and 47" x 32" x 34" (121 cm x 81 cm x 88 cm).

Beijing Capital does not permit the following breeds of animal to travel as they are considered to be snub-nosed or dangerous by the airline: Terriers, Boxers, Bulldogs, Spaniels, Pugs, Mastiffs, American Staffordshire dogs, pit bull terriers, Boston terriers, Brussels Griffon dogs, water spaniels, English Cocker Spaniels, English Toy Spaniels, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Bull
Mastiffs, Griffon Bruxellois dogs, Affenpinscher dogs, Lhasa Apso dogs, Pekingese dogs, Chow Chows, Japanese Chin dogs, Japanese dogs, Shar Pei dogs, Shih Tzu dogs; Burmese cats, Himalayan cats, Persian cats, Exotic Shorthair; and Pitbulls, Tosa dogs, Fila Brasileiro (Brazililian Mastiff), and dogo
Argentino.
