Pets in the Cabin

Passengers are permitted to bring 1 pet (cat, dog, select birds and rodents) in the cabin on Corsair flights if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Pets must remain the passenger's responsibility throughout the journey and must stay in a carrier at all times. Flights between Paris and Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Mayotte and Reunion island have a pet fee of 75 EUR; and flights between Paris, Montreal Madagascar or Africa have a pet fee of 150 EUR.

Pets in Checked Baggage

Pets weighing more than 17 lbs (8 kg) and less than 110 lbs (50 kg) can travel as checked baggage instead. Passengers may transport up to 2 pets in the same carrier, as long as they are of similar weight and breed, and used to living together. The maximum weight for animals traveling together is 30 lbs (14 kg). Flights between Paris and Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Mayotte and Reunion island have a pet fee of 150 EUR; and flights between Paris, Montreal Madagascar or Africa have a pet fee of 300 EUR.

Pets in Cargo

Carrier Guidelines

For pets being transported in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 45" (115 cm). Carriers should be equipped with an appropriate locking system and air holes to allow the animal to breathe. For pets traveling in the hold, carriers must be rigid plastic without any wheels, solidly assembled, have metal door), and have 4 metal rods attaching the door to the cage. Your pet must be able to stand, head fully erect, without touching the top of the carrier, turn around and lie down comfortably inside.

Other Restrictions

The breeds of animals that are not accepted by Corsair are American Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweillers, and Tosas. Carrying pets in the cabin to/from Mauritius is not allowed.
