A maximum of three animals may be transported aboard an aircraft in the passenger cabin. Czech Airlines recommends booking Fido a spot on flights as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. You can contact the Customer Service Team at 855-359-2932 to do this and to find out further information.
Pets in the Cabin
Small cats and dogs are permitted to travel in the cabin with Czech Airlines if the combined weight of the pet and carrier is under 17 lbs (8 kg). Each passenger is permitted to carry 1 pet in the cabin. Fido must remain inside their carrier for the duration of the flight. Pet carriers are not included in your free cabin baggage allowance. The fee for this service is 1,620 CZK.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Dogs, cats, and ferrets can be transported in the hold on Czech Airlines flights, as long as food and water is available to animals inside their carrier and the pet owner’s name and telephone number is written on the crate. There is a fee for pets based on their combined weight with their carrier. Pets weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) cost 1,620 CZK; from 50-70 lbs (23-32 kg) the fee is 3,240 CZK; From 70-110 lbs (32-50 kg) the fee is 4,680 CZK; for pets weighing over 110 lbs (50 kg) the fee is 6,480 CZK.
Pets in Cargo
Pets traveling alone can travel in the cargo hold on certain flights. You can contact the Cargo Department directly at 718-656-9100 for more information on this service.
For pets traveling the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions 17" x 12" x 10" (43 cm x 30 cm x 27 cm). For pets traveling in the hold, carriers must not exceed the dimensions 49" x 27" x 31" (125 cm x 69 cm x 80 cm).
