Small pets can travel in the cabin with DAT if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Animals are charged an excess baggage fee of 300 DKK for traveling with DAT .

Animals who exceed the limit to travel in the cabin may be accepted for transport as checked baggage instead. 2 animals can travel in the same carrier if they are used to each other and weigh a maximum of 30 lbs (14 kg) each. A maximum of 3 animals less than 6 months old, who are from the same litter, can be transported together. Animals are charged an excess baggage fee of 300 DKK for traveling with DAT.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be soft, waterproof at the bottom or fluid-resistant. DAT prefers passengers to bring Fido in a Sherpa bag. For pets traveling in the hold, carriers must be IATA-approved, waterproof, and covered with an absorbent mat. Animals must be able to stand upright, turn around, and lie down comfortably inside.

If you are scheduled to fly on a flight with a passenger who is allergic to animals, you will be transferred to a different flight.
