For safety and space reasons, animals are only accepted on board if they are registered when you purchase your tickets. There may be a limited amount of space available for pets, so you should contact the Customer Service Team as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. Helvetic Airways does not accept any liability for possible damages to the animal’s health from flight carriage.

Small dogs, cats and domesticated birds can travel in the cabin on select flights if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 15 lbs (7 kg). Pets must remain on the floor during the entire flight, and be stored under the front seat during take off and landing. The fee for pets traveling in the cabin is CHF 105 each way.

Pets who weigh 15-30 lbs (7-14 kg) may be accepted for transport as checked baggage instead. The fee for pets traveling as checked baggage is CHF 210 each way.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 22" x 12" x 10" (56 cm x 32 cm x 27 cm). They must be watertight and remain closed throughout the journey. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 36" x 26" x 27" (93 cm x 65 cm x 68 cm). Additionally, carriers should be made from wood, metal, synthetic materials, welded wire mesh or standard wire mesh.
