Small pets can travel in the cabin with approval by the airline if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Animals must be placed underneath the seat in front of you for the duration of the flight. Passengers traveling with their pet in the cabin will be charged an excess baggage fee depending on their travel route.

Pets who exceed the limitations to travel in the cabin may be accepted for transport as checked baggage instead. Passengers traveling with their pet in the hold will be charged an excess baggage fee depending on their travel route.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be waterproof and small enough to fit underneath the seat in front of you. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 80" (203 cm). Fido's carrier must be hard, secure, and lockable. Additionally, carriers must be waterproof and covered with an absorbent material.
