Pets in the Cabin
interCaribbean allows small cats and dogs to travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 15 lbs (8 kg). Passengers will be charged a fee depending on the size of the animal.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Pets who exceed the limitations to travel in the cabin may be accepted as checked baggage instead. Passengers will be charged a fee depending on the size of the animal.
Other Restrictions
The following breeds of dog are not permitted to fly with InterCaribbean Airways: Akitas, Bulldogs, Mastiff, American Staffordshire Terrier, the Pit Bull Terrier, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bandog, Beauceron, Canary dog, Presa Canario, Doberman Pinscher, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brazilliero, Japanese Tosa, Jindo, Kuvasz, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Roman Fighting Dog, Rottweiler, South African Boerboel, and any other dog who they deem a fighting breed. Emotional support dogs may also be accepted with prior approval from the carrier.
