Small cats and dogs with a combined weight including carrier under 15 lbs (7 kg) can travel on direct domestic flights with JetSMART. Each passenger is permitted to travel with 1 pet over 8 weeks old.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be at least 14" x 13" x 20" (36 cm x 33 cm x 20 cm), well-ventilated and have absorbent floors.

The maximum number of pets welcome on each flight is 3. Passengers must inform the airline that they are bringing a pet at least 48 hours before departure. The following dog breeds are not permitted to fly with JetSMART: Affenpinscher, Boxer, Bullmastiff, French Mastiff, Lhasa Apso, Canary Mastiff, Shih Tzu, Pit Bull, American Staffordshire, Brussels Griffon, Cane Corso, Staffordeshire English Bull Terrier, Mastiffs, Pug, Tibetan Spaniel, Boston Terrier, Bulldog, Chow, Japanese Chin, Pekingese, Shar Pei and English Toy Spaniel. The following cat breeds are also not permitted: Birman, Himalayan, Exotic shorthair and Persian.
