Small pets can travel in the cabin with Maya Island Air if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 15 lbs (7 kg). Each passenger is permitted to travel with 1 pet and carrier on each flight. Depending on the size of your carrier, Fido will be placed at your feet or on a special shelf during the flight. Passengers traveling with a pet in the cabin will be charged an excess baggage fee.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be specifically designed for travel, leak-proof, and well-ventilated. Fido must be able to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably inside the carrier.
