Pets are welcome to travel in the cabin with Nordica. The combined weight of the pet and carrier cannot exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Animals in the cabin must stay in the carrier during the whole flight, and be placed under the seat in front during take-off, landing, and in case of turbulence. Pets are not included in the free baggage allowance and are charged a fee of 35 EUR to travel one way in the cabin.

Pets who exceed the weight limit to fly in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage instead. The combined weight of the pet and carrier cannot exceed 132 lbs (60 kg) for animals to be transported as cargo or checked baggage. Pets are not included in the free baggage allowance and are charged a fee of 55 EUR to travel one way as checked baggage.

Carriage of animals as cargo in the baggage hold is subject to the same requirements as animals as checked baggage. The pet fee for animals traveling as cargo depends on the size of the carrier and the combined weight. There may be additional fees depending on the destination of your travel. Nordica will notify you of extra fees regarding carriage of animals when you reserve your spot on board.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 22" x 18" x 10" (56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm). They must be of an appropriate weight and size for the animal traveling inside. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed 43" x 30" x 29" (110 cm x 76 cm x 73 cm). Carriers must be large enough for people to stand, turn, and lie down; clean, tight and securely closed with an absorbent material lining the bottom; labelled with a relevant sticker and any instructions; equipped with a water and feed container; ventilated on at least 3 sides; and made of fiberglass, metal, rigid plastics, weld metal mesh, solid wood or plywood, without any wheels attached. Carriers cannot be made entirely of welded mesh or wire mesh.
