The amount of birds permitted in the cabin on Nordstar flights depends on the type of aircraft being used. On the Boeing 737, 7 birds are permitted (1 in business and 6 in economy); and on ATR 42-500 aircraft, just 4 birds are allowed. To guarantee your pet a spot on board, you should contact the Customer Service Team at (+8) 800-700-8-007 as soon as your travel plans are confirmed.

Small pets with a combined under 22 lbs (10 kg) can travel with adult passengers in the cabin with Nordstar. Pets traveling in this manner will be charged as excess baggage.

Pets who exceed the weight limit to travel in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage instead. The maximum weight for pets and carriers being transported in the hold is 70 lbs (32 kg). Pets traveling in this manner will be charged as excess baggage.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the combined dimensions of 46" (118 cm). The height of the carrier should not be greater than 9" (23 cm). Additionally, the bottom of carriers must be tight, waterproof, solid and covered with an absorbent material. The outside of the carrier should be covered in a cloth throughout the journey.
