Pets in the Cabin
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to travel in the cabin on any flights.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Animals are permitted to travel as checked baggage if they are at least 8 weeks old. 2 animals that are used to each other can travel in the same carrier together in the hold. Passengers traveling with animals as checked baggage will incur a fee of $75 for small and medium carriers; and $100 for large and extra large carriers.
For pets traveling as checked baggage, the following carriers are accepted: small carriers: 21” L x 16” W x 15” H (53 cm x 40 cm x 38 cm); medium carriers: 28” L x 20.5” W x 21.5” H (71 cm x 52 cm x 54 cm); large carriers: 36” L x 25” W x 27” H (91 cm x 63 cm x 68 cm); and extra large carriers: 40” L x 28” W x 30” H (101 cm x 71 cm x 76 cm). All carriers must be hard-sided, leak-proof, and not allow animals body parts to protrude. Wheels must be removed and they must have a lockable door to prevent escape.
PAL Airlines reserves the right to refuse transport to any animal that appears to be aggressive, in distress, unruly, or whose health appears questionable for travel.
- CharlieDec. 2, 2020Great site!
This page gave me all the information I needed to book a flight with my lovely feline companion. It also provided the phone number to the airline which was SUPER helpful. Glad this site is here.
