Porter allows up to 2 pets in the cabin on any given flight, so you should reserve a spot for Fido as soon as possible by contacting the Porter Call Center at 1-888-619-8622. You must do this at least 24 hours in advance of your travel.

Small cats and dogs can travel with their owners in the cabin with Porter Airlines if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 20 lbs (9 kg). Each passenger is permitted to bring 1 pet and carrier on board. Pets must remain inside throughout the journey with nothing protruding from the carrier. The fee for pets traveling in the cabin is $50-57.50 per direction.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers should not exceed 13" x 17" x 6" (33 cm x 43 cm x 16 cm). Carriers must be leak proof and well ventilated. Pets must be able to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably inside.

Pets are not permitted to travel with unaccompanied minors, passengers travelling with infants, passengers who require the use of a medical device that needs to be stowed underneath the seat, passengers assisting as a registered travel attendant, passengers seated in emergency exit rows.
Additionally, aggressive or distressed pets may be denied transport at Porter’s discretion.
