Small pets under 20 lbs (9 kg) are welcome in the cabin with Ravn Alaska. Up to 2 familiar pets of the same species and similar size may travel in the same carrier, provided they remain inside throughout the journey. The fee for transporting pets in the cabin is $75.

Animals weighing under 149 lbs (67 kg) can be checked as baggage. Up to 2 familiar pets of the same species and similar size may travel in the same carrier, as long as they remain inside throughout the journey. The fee for transporting pets as checked baggage is $100.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers should be structurally sound; constructed of plastic, wood or metal; be escape-proof; properly ventilated without offensive doors; leak-proof with safe, non-toxic absorbent bedding. Carriers should also be large enough for the animal to freely stand, sit, turnaround and lie down inside. For pets traveling as checked baggage, the name, address, and phone number of the passenger must be on the carrier, along with the signature certifying the animal has been offered food and water within four hours of scheduled flight departure. Feeding instructions must also be included. Inside, you need to provide your pet with 2 dishes accessible from the outside.

Brachycephalic dogs and cats are permitted to travel with Ravn Alaska at the owner’s risk. Only 2 pets are permitted to travel as checked baggage on each Ravn Alaska flight.
