Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to fly in the cabin with Sharp Airlines.

Pets are welcome to fly as freight cargo with Sharp Airlines. The fee for this service each way on flights from Essendon to Flinders Island and King Island and King Island to Burnie (Wynyard) and King Island to Launceston (per sector) is $68.40 for pets under 22 lbs (10 kg), $119.69 for pets under 66 lbs and $239.38 for pets under 68 lbs (31 kg). On flights from Launceston to Flinders Island, the fee is $51.30 for pets under 22 lbs (10 kg), $74.10 for pets under 66 lbs and $142.49 for pets under 68 lbs (31 kg) and on flights from Essendon to Burnie (Wynyard) or Launceston (via King Island) the fee is $136.79 for pets under 22 lbs (10 kg), $227.98 for pets under 66 lbs and $445.97 for pets under 68 lbs (31 kg). Passengers with pets can also rent an appropriate carrier for $51.30 each way.

For pets traveling as cargo, carriers can be 20" x 15" x 15" (53 cm x 37 cm x 37 cm), 32" x 22" x 23" (82 cm x 56 cm x 60 cm) or 45" x 26" x 32" (115 cm x 66 cm x 80 cm).

Pets are not permitted to fly to Port August or Adelaide with Sharp Air. Animals over 66 lbs (30 kg) will not be accepted on board.
