The maximum number of animal containers per aircraft is 10, so you should contact the Reservations Team at 801-401-9100 to guarantee Fido a spot as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. Additionally, Silver Airways will not accept gaming birds under any circumstance.
Pets in the Cabin
Silver Airways welcomes domestic cats, dogs, and household birds to fly in the cabin. Animals must be harmless, inoffensive, odorless, and require no attention during transit. Only 1 pet is permitted to travel in each carrier, except that 2 kittens or 2 puppies under 10 weeks of age, or 2 household birds can travel together in 1 container. The fees for this service depend on the destination you are traveling to. Fees for traveling to Florida are $24.98, and fees to the Bahamas are $29.98.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Unfortunately, Silver Airways does not allow pets to travel in the hold.
For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers should be no larger than 17” L x 16” W x 9” H (43 cm x 40 cm x 22 cm). They must be leak-proof, structurally sound, free from all broken wires or protrusions, and properly ventilated. Pets should be able to stand, sit, and change positions comfortably inside.
Effective January 11, 2021, Silver will no longer accept emotional support animal bookings on any Silver or Seaborne flight. Emotional support animals will be transported in accordance with pets in cabin policies and procedures for those that qualify instead.
