SmartWings accepts small cats and dogs in the cabin on select flights. The maximum combined weight for pets and carriers in the cabin is 17 lbs (8 kg). Passengers may bring 1 pet into the cabin with them. The pet fee for animals in the cabin is 75 EUR each way.

Pets who exceed the weight restrictions for traveling in the cabin can travel in the hold instead. Dogs are welcome in the hold if the combined weight of pet and carrier must not exceed 17-70 lbs (8 - 32 kg). Each animal traveling in the hold must have its own breathable crate with a firm bottom. The fee for transporting a pet as checked baggage is 150 EUR.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers shouldn't exceed the dimensions 17" x 12" x 10.5" (43 cm x 30 cm x 27 cm). For pets traveling in the hold, animals must have their own breathable crate with a firm bottom. Pets must be able to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably inside.

If you plan on bringing your pet with you, advanced notice is necessary at least 48 hours before departure. Pet transport is forbidden on flights operated by another carrier like Israir or Eurowings. Pets are not permitted on flights to/from Dubai, Keflavík, Ras Al Khaimah or Marsa Alam.
