Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to travel in the cabin on any flights with Star Flyer Airlines.

Dogs, cats, and household birds are permitted to travel as checked baggage with Star Flyer. The fee for this service is 6,500 JPY per segment of the journey.

For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be lockable. If carriers cannot be locked with a key, they offer a rental carrier for free. They also offer these for passengers with wood, fabric, or wicker carriers as none of these materials are accepted on board. For passengers renting carriers, the small dimensions are 16" x 21" x 15" (41 cm x 53 cm x 38 cm); medium dimensions are 21" x 27" x 18" (51 cm x 69 cm x 47.5 cm); and large dimensions are 24" x 35" x 26" (61 cm x 91 cm x 66 cm).

Star Flyer Airlines does not accept the following snub-nosed breeds from June 1st to September 30th: Bulldog, French Bulldog, Boxer, Shih Tzu, Terrier (Boston terrier, Bull Terrier), Spaniel (King Charles Spaniel, Tibetan Spaniel), Brussels Griffon, Chow Chow, Pug, Japanese Spaniel, and Pekingese. During the summer season, other breeds can be provided with a refrigerated device in the hold.
