Pet owners must reserve a place for pets at least 48 hours before departure.

Small animals can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Animals traveling with the passengers at their side must not cause inconvenience to other passengers. The fee for this service varies depending on the destination of your travel.

Animals who can't fit in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 70 lbs (32 kg). The fee for this service varies depending on the destination of your travel.

Fido may be accepted for transport as cargo instead if they need to be sent separately or exceed weight limits to travel as checked baggage. Find out more information by contacting the Reservations Department at 00216 70-837-000.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 21" x 15" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). Additionally, they should be well ventilated and solid for safe transport inside the aircraft. On the inside of the carrier, there should be a label on the door with the name and address. Hay and straw are not allowed in carriers.

The following breeds of animal are not accepted for transport with Tunisair: Pit Bull, Bower Bull, Rottweiler, and the Tosa Inu.
