Pets in the Cabin

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to travel in the cabin on UNI Air flights.

Pets in Checked Baggage

Cats, dogs, rabbits, turtles, frogs and insects can travel as checked baggage with UNI Air. Pets and carriers that weigh under 22 lbs (10 kg) are charged as excess baggage at the rate of normal luggage at 22 lbs (10 kg), whereas a total weight that exceeds 22 lbs (10 kg) are charged at the final weight.

Carrier Guidelines

For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be leak, escape and claw-proof. The carrier must be made of rigid plastics material. Pets should be able to stand without touching the roof of the carrier, have space to stand upright, and lie down comfortably inside. Inside the carrier, food and water should be secured.

Other Restrictions

Pets shall not be accepted as checked baggage in A321 aircrafts. UNI Air Transport doesn't advise snub-nose dogs and cats to be transported during hot season. The following brachycephalic dog breeds are not permitted during this time: Affenpinscher, Boston Terrier, Boxers (all breeds), Brussels Griffin, Bulldog (all breeds), Bull Terrier, Pug (all breeds), Chow Chow, Dogue de Bordeaux, English Toy Spaniel, Japanese Chin/Japanese Spaniel/Chin Chin, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Lhasa Apso, Mastiff(all breeds), Pekingese, Presa Canario, Shar Pei, Shih Tzu, Tibetan Spaniel. The cat breeds that are not permitted during this time are Burmese, Himalayan, Persian (e.g. Chinchilla), and Exotic shorthair. The following breeds are not permitted to travel at any time with Eva Air: American Pit Bull (Terrier), American Staffordshire, Terrier Fila Brazileiros, Japanese Tosa, Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino (Argentine Mastiff), and Cane Corso.
